Beetle-Moorcroft the athlete was a key contributor to Lady Falcons’ basketball this season, leading her team in 3-point shooting and averaging 8 points per game. The girls' team finished second in the Big 10, going 10-2 in conference play and 14-6 overall.

Daniels started the school year with the with the top average in his class. The Falcons ended the season third in the Big 10 with an 11-5 league record; they were 13-8 overall.

Daniels, a forward on the basketball team, also was a standout in varsity soccer. Last fall he led his team in goals and was a top scorer in Section II, helping take the Falcons to a Big 10 conference title. He also was recognized as a first-team Big 10 all-star. Like Beetle-Moorcroft, he was chosen for the scholar-athlete award from more than 1,000 boys who played Section II basketball.
