Registering your child for school is as
easy as ABC
Kindergarten registration, prekindergarten open
enrollment available for 2010-11 school year
The City School District of Albany wants
to make the school registration process as easy as possible for busy parents. We
understand that it can be confusing trying to figure out which of the
district's schools your child will
attend.
To alleviate
some of the confusion and help parents get all the information they
need, and to assist in completing all the proper forms, the
district operates a Central Registration Office where everything parents
need is under one roof.
Parents of elementary,
middle and high school children should go to
Central Registration to enroll their children in school. The office is
located in the Sunshine Building in Lincoln Park, at the intersection of
Delaware and Morton avenues.
Registration for
kindergarten, prekindergarten and the
district's three theme-based
magnet schools
is available. You can call Central Registration for
additional information at (518) 462-7207, and
check out the Required Documents section
to find out what you will need to register your child for school.
Hours of Operation are from 8:30 a.m. to
4 p.m.
If you are unable to visit Central
Registration during the hours of operation, exceptions can be made.
